Privacy Policy.
Magic Calendar is a personal scheduling app for iPad and Mac. We collect no personal data, run no analytics, and serve no ads.
What Magic Calendar stores
The events you create — titles, dates, times, notes, colors, reminders, and recurrence rules — are stored locally on your device.
If you turn on iCloud sync (iOS Settings → your Apple Account → iCloud → Magic Calendar), the same data is also stored in your private iCloud account so it can sync between your iPad and Mac. iCloud sync is off by default. We — the developers of Magic Calendar — never see, receive, or store any of this data. It moves directly between your devices via Apple's iCloud and never touches our servers, because we don't have any.
What Magic Calendar does NOT collect
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No third-party SDKs in the app
- No crash-reporting services
- No location data
- No contacts, photos, or other personal data
- No account or login required
Permissions Magic Calendar may ask for
- Notifications. Used only to deliver reminders for events you create. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device — they're not push notifications and never leave your device.
- Microphone. Used only when you tap the microphone button in the event form to dictate an event title.
- Speech Recognition. Used together with microphone access to transcribe what you say into the event title field. Transcription is performed by Apple's Speech framework. We do not record or store the audio.
You can deny or revoke any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Magic Calendar. The corresponding feature simply won't work, but the rest of the app will function normally.
Deleting your data
Magic Calendar's data lives only on your devices and, if you've enabled it, in your private iCloud. To delete it:
- From your device: delete the Magic Calendar app. All local data is removed.
- From iCloud: open iOS Settings → your Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage → Magic Calendar → Delete Data. Or sign out of iCloud entirely.
